Supermarine Stranraer

a painting by Orest Cochkanoff as presented to J. R. Frizzle on his birthday a number of years ago (probably Dad's 80th.) Orest's notes suggest that Dad flew the Supermarine Stranraer at Shearwater, Nova Scotia.
Shearwater is located North of Halifax proper.
